Morning Adam and team, I just wanted to say that I am absolutely ecstatic with the results achieved on the GENF2 LSA R8, done about kms since Friday and car is running perfectly, it is a completely different car, its awesome having the rocking sensation at idle and occasional backfire through the exhaust and to be fair provided the right foot is progressive on the go fast peddle it still manages to get the power down very well even with the tread bare back tyres.
You have delivered exactly what you promised a car that is fast while still maintaining the drivability of the car and at a reasonable price.

This is typically at least 20rwkw and 40nm more at the rear wheels than factory. If you feel the car hesitate slightly during heavy acceleration then your car is probably making too much power for the standard settings. These mods by themselves or combined can possibly cause the Fuel Trims to exceed the factory parameters and trigger an engine check light especially doing a lot of open road or motorway cruising.
This is another reason to get a custom tune. For these reasons generally HSV's will not make the same type of Power gains over factory as the lesser tuned Holden V8's. See Power Upgrades section which shows gains with individual modifications for each car model.

I've swapped bank 1 and bank 2 sensors and it continues to throw the code on only bank 2. I use tech2 and my standalone version of tis and it works well. It's monitoring the downstream O2 sensor and comparing to the upstream to confirm the cat is working. Havnt swapped cats as they are different between left and right so can't. Don't really want to outlay for a new cat if it doesn't fix the problem.
The cats havnt been bashed out or damaged. Have already eliminated exhaust leaks possibly letting O2 into the exhaust stream and causing it, have removed and applied sealer to the exhaust joins. I believe the problem is the cat is slightly inefficient, and the PCM is too stringent on what it calls a fail.At LsXtreme we are able to help out with all your Commodore needs.
